Parking and Transportation

Campus parking

Parking is available at each campus. You must purchase a parking permit if you park a vehicle on campus. Parking permits are valid on all campuses until their expiration date on August 31. A parking permit is no guarantee of a parking space.

Obtain a Parking Permit

Use the online system to order your parking permits, green car tags, and carpool tags—and find a carpool partner.

Annual parking permits are valid for one academic year, beginning September 1 through August 31. You must be an ACC employee or registered student to obtain a permit.

Public transportation

ACC’s Green Pass program provides rides on Capital Metro services for all credit and ABE students, faculty, and staff. CE students and hourly employees are not eligible at this time.

Green Passes are available each semester. To collect your Green Pass, visit an ACC Cashier Office or Campus Administration Office and show your ACC ID card. Green Pass riders must show an ACC ID card upon request.

Sustainable options

Driving your car isn’t the only way to get to ACC. Many alternate forms of transportation are better for the environment, and could help you save money. Visit the Office of Sustainability site, www.austincc.edu/offices/environmental-stewardship, to learn about ways to bypass traffic and parking congestion.

Be safe

ACC District Police are always available to escort students and employees to their cars, simply call 512-223-1231. Always have your keys ready when you approach your vehicle, and keep your doors locked even when sitting inside your car.

Parking Regulations, Permit and Enforcement

It is your responsibility to know parking and traffic regulations, which are published on the Parking and Transportation section of the ACC website. The college assumes no responsibility for any vehicle or its content while the vehicle is parked or operated on college property. Visit www.austincc.edu/students/parking-and-transportation/parking-regulations-permits-and-enforcement for more information.

The ACC District Police Department enforces parking and traffic regulations and issues fines for violations. Fines can be paid online at austincc.edu/marketplace.
