Texas Success Initiative

The state Legislature created the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) to ensure that all incoming college students have the mathematics, writing, and reading skills required for college-level coursework.

All first-time college students must take the TSI test and be advised before enrolling in classes unless you are exempt or complete.

You will not be denied admission to ACC based on TSI or other college placement scores. However, testing needs to be completed prior to enrollment in classes.
