Full-time Student: You are considered a full-time student if you register for the following minimum number of credits:

  • 12 credits per semester in the fall or spring semester.
  • 12 credits during the 10-week or 9-week sessions in the summer semester.
  • 6 credits in both 5-week sessions in the summer semester.

Maximum Course load: You must obtain written permission from a campus dean of student affairs or designee before you can register above these credit units:

  • 18 credits per semester in the fall or spring semester.
  • 12 credits per semester during the 10-week or 9-week sessions in the summer semester.
  • 6 credits in a 5-week summer session.
